Tingira Challenge
TINGIRA CHALLENGE
Shark Island Paddlers annual Tingira Challenge race is a highlight on the paddling calendar each year where we look forward to hosting our community of paddlers and competitors from across the city.
A long (approx. 16km) and a short (approx. 8km) course are offered, from Tingira Reserve at Rose Bay to Shark Island and northwards to Watsons Bay.
Categories include single and double surf skis, kayaks, SUPs and paddleboards, with both trophies and cash prizes on offer.
Since 2022, the Tingira has also been one leg of a harbour racing Tri Series.
