Tingira 2026 set for March 28th

The 2026 chapter of our historic Tingira paddle event is locked and loaded for Saturday 28th March from Rose Bay.

2 courses are offered: the 7km short course inside the harbour to Vaucluse Bay and the 14km long course, which crosses the Heads to Quarantine Beach and back.

This year's event is again part of the Triseries https://triseries.com.au/ with our friends from MWKC and SHSC with their Palm Beach Pursuit and Spit to Zoo events.

Race #1 = Palm Beach Pursuit Saturday 7 March

Race #2 = Tingira Saturday 28 March 

Race #3 = Spit to Zoo Saturday 2 May

Race Categories:

The race will be open to men and women in the following watercraft

·         Surf skis

·         Ocean racing skis

·         Out rigger canoes

·         Sea kayaks

·         Stand up paddle boards

·         Miscellaneous kayaks and paddle craft

Age Groups:

The race will be open to participants in the following age groups in years

·         Under 20

·         20-39

·         40-59

·         Over 60

·         Double Ski - can be mixed/male/female however it must the same crew 

·         OC1 (single person outrigger)
